Tell me details about google place & google map. should I submit a website to http://www.google.com/places/ or http://maps.google.com/ for getting local google search ranking? I asking one of my friend to submit his site on google place but he said he did it & said search it on google map then u will find my site. is this means that he submitted his site on google place? or only google map?
i think both, he submitted his site on google place, at the same time he submitted his site on google map...
Google places is the right way and in when you submit your site in google places it asks you for your map in this way you submit your map in google places therefore google map is the part of google places.
I think Google places is more helpful comparison of Google Maps. Because we can submit our business details in Google places and it really help users to find a place through business details.
