Google Penguin Update?

I have been hearing a lot about the google penguin and can someone please explain to me what exactly it is?

 

Penguin is the Google's new spam-fighting algorithm.

 

Over optimized website is thrown out.. This is google updated spam-fighting algorithm

 

Totally agree with you, and sometimes i just think seoers pay too much attention to the updates, or fear them.

There were a lot of factors effected by Penguin, both on-site and off-site. On-site optimization was a huge one. On-site optimization is a way to tell Google that you are trying to game the algorithm and always has been. This is just the first time Google really did anything about it.

Google Panda, Google Penguin...what's next? lol Penguin does have a lot of SEOers upset that they've gotten smacked down by Google, but just like everything else, they will adjust, and Google will have to re-adjust. Reading Google Webmaster Tools can be really helpful.

 

This Google algorithm update was issued towards spam resignation. The main goal was to slam rankings of websites using unfair tactics such as keywords sniffing or black-hat SEO.
Lots of SEO websites were overwhelmed with duplicate content and spam and after this update they were downranked.

 

why google is now using blogs deindex not use the drop page rank

 

Because its better to not use that for many reasons...

 

Actually Google want to provide highly related search result on entered keywords. Many use spammy words which is not related to the topic of the page. If it drop the rank of the website the website will still come on SERPs that's why google deindexed it so one should not dare to use spammy and low quality content on blogs or websites.
