Anybody has recovered from Google Penguin update yet? One of my sites have been affected and I saw slight recovery, but not recovered fully. Can anybody suggest how to recover from it fully?
It is kind of late now when you think about it. Who wants to invest time in olders sites which you worked on and put money in if you don't know if original content or good links will bring it back to a good level.
penguin recovery is a 2 step process. first you need to figure out why your site was hit. if it is for bad links, you need to remove those links or remove as much as you can. you can look at your link profile under google webmaster tools. once thats done, you will need to run a 100% whitehat link building campaign that is well diversified. it will take 2-3 months before you can see any progress but eventually you will get over it.
I think only a one way to for Recovery.... and it is SEO.. You should do more and more forum discussion and publish your post without keyword stuffing. And write your contain clean and easy to understand everyone......
i would like to suggest you to implement google webmaster tool and check what webmaster scanning report generated. Follow to resolve your issue.
There will always be new updates in the future, it would be better to hold on to your site as its possible a new solution to help such sites be found.
just buy a new domain exactly as the old one but with a new extension. Write quality content and do only proper seo. don't over-optimize and don't use softwares.
Noway you can get back in the game with a new domain name, if you are targeting a competitive search term. Remember domain aging is very important.
Penguin 1.1 made changes in few site but the irony ws panda 3.3 was released simultaneously or 3 days later. so can't say which made changes if someone feels. Waiting for another update.
I don't understand why you want to go for new domains immediately. There are lot of options in Google's webmaster tool to check out. There are lot more updates going to come in future and going for new domains is not an good idea. Try to analyze why and where are the things gone wrong. Please correct me if I am wrong. Check out webmaster tools, site wide links, exact anchor tag links, keyword density, content quality and quantity. These are few steps which will help you a lot in recovering from both panda and penguin.
Maybe it's time to focus on the traffic directed not from Google? I mean, it is really big risk to depend all on Google's capricious algorithm. So try to attract traffic from other resources, and Google will finally give your large-volumn-natural-traffic site good rank
