Google Penguin - How should I build backlink now

Before, I build backlink on directory, blog, forum....etc with ANCHOR text

Now, should I build with ANCHOR text ? or only build NATURAL backlink (like www.xyz.com) ?

I am so confused

You can build backlinks by anchor text, but there should be variation. Also always create backlinks from different source for link diversity. Link variation & source diversity are the things to remember on penguin safe.

 

Every which way possible in my opinion. Some with anchor, some without, some with site name. Mix up lots of different keywords.

 

You can use anchor text as previous. but make sure do not submit multiple time same anchor text on different directories. so make one list with different anchor text with some changes Every directory or randomly anchor text should be change.

 

You have to use many different anchor texts to look natural. You also need to have some backlinks without anchortexts. Simply try to naturalize them with different variations.

Why are you hurting your brain over penguin and panda... Just build links from many sources but diversified the anchor text a bit like "weight loss program", "best weight loss program", "weight loss program that workouts", "weight loss program - the best online", "weight loss program home page", "weight loss program Website"...

So anchor text like those above will allow you to still get the benefits of those back links.

Also avoid "click here" and what ever trash you see other people doing. Why they are trying to compete against "get.adobe.com/reader/", I don't know.....

I am however for new domains avoiding directories/blogroll/footer links, sitewides, WordPress sponsor links and article submissions to unmoderated websites.

 

Just make sure to diversity!
Both in type,anchor, and destination

 

What about NOT building backlinks anymore? Doesn't it make sense to you? Imagine if you spent all your time creating content, better content, don't you think it would attract more traffic than by building backlinks?

I guess it will take a little more time to sink in..

 

Of course, "content is KING". You should focus on making your content better, instead of making your backlinks better.

 

Write a article with good content and post it on some good, high PR article site which are do-follow. Also blog-commenting is a good way to create back-link.

 

Now, if you want for creating back links, the only safe way is working for natural back link building work. Content is important, this is right. But, for getting good PR, back links are also important.

 

What do you call "natural back link"?

Need a bunch of different anchor text, as well as nmatural link progression, along with various different outlets.

 

If I sell plumbing fittings, tell me how many blogs or sites will naturally link to my site? And how long it will take for them to discover my existence?

Well I would say do your SEO smarter. And get links from better quality sites; anchors with long tail keywords and do not rush. Still works for me.
