My blog articles2u.com penalized by google on Jan 5,2010 and removed on Feb 01,2010. They penalize once again on Feb 02,2010. My blog related to india, i use tag as a keyword... My latest blog post contains price, india tags. I stop using tag as keyword, after 2 days my penalty removed. I publish 2 blog post and add price, india keyword to keyword field of the article. Next day penalize.... Now i think using India keywords on lots of article reason for my penalty (my blog related to india). It is true? Now i removed India, price keywords. How many days need to google remove penalty....
First of all let me tell you that, its not necessary that whatever your niche is, you dont have to repeat the word and make it a text link or a tag in all the posts. Make it simple, put just once in the whole article. You can anytime make that particular word in "bold" or "italics" which will highlight and show up in search results.
If you believe that was the cause, some days are OK to wait since you can in the meanwhile work on your link building campaigns and practices. Try writing contents in a natural way and as your site gets older, the rankings and authority level of that too would get enhanced.
Try to workout on contents rather than other short cuts. The ultimate aim is to express your knowledge and enhance contents rather than looking for other options.
Tags for blog posts are for internal filing, not google results. How can you now use the same keywords? I use em over an over! If my blog is about cars, why would I not include cars, autos, or anything else in the tags? Again, just for filing. So that when people come to your blog, they can find other posts that are on the same subject. How could you possible have a niche blog and not make posts about the same things? Yes, keyword relevancy. But who doesn't post on the same genre? I have a blog for tips for teachers. You can bet I tag each one with teachers and/or tips if it fits. That blog is a PR4, up from PR3 last update. Over 50 posts. If you are talking about possibly using the meta tag for keywords on each post, the same thing would be true. I have one blog that is php scripted with the same header for each page. Each page, post, etc. has the same meta keyword tag. But then, meta keyword tag is irrelevant to google anyway. Stephen C
