    My site is around 3 and a half year old. Was on PR4 for more thn year. Now all of a sudden home page PR has gone to 2 and to my surprise few internal pages are of PR 3.
    Please let me know if its some sort of penalty or something else.

    My site url is in my signa.

    Yes you can get back reputation of your site. You need to send request to Google regarding your mistakes and you need to take care that same mistake not done again.
