The beginning of this month my network of 12 related sites all got penalized and are currently limited to page 4+. I suspect I triggered a manual review and got penalized for quality issues. Unfortunately it may have been triggered by artificial type link building that Google might not approve of. Do I take the time to build these domains into quality sites? Or should I just start fresh on new domains that aren't tainted? It seems that to get my rankings restored I might have to improve the entire network of sites. Even then, Google might still block them due to their link profiles. What would you do if these were your websites?
ooh.. bad news, I can fell you frustrated about this. just my suggestion. I will start with new domain if I got this problem, because google always block or black list your old domain.
do both? Firstly get the content and sites up to scratch and they will move up in PR naturally. If you start a fresh you will get no inbound links to your site and no PR so that sets you back a few months or longer depending how you get your PR. If you do both then you will have the good quality sites to link to your new ones and that will increase your Domain authority and PR a lot more. Think like a link wheel......Â
