I run a 2 chat sites called usachatnow.com (usachatnow) and teenschatnow.com feb 24, 2009 my site went from first page to 5, 6th and 7th. The reason I say those 3 pages is because the keyword (doesn't matter which one) they simply move from page to page every hour of every day. I have been trying to figure out this penalty since this has happened. I have done alot of changes with my site. One being cleaning up all the errors from the validator, removing paid links, adding fresh content and etc. ALot of the changes I made happened last summer. I just recently cleaned up all the errors I had using the validator. I am also using nofollow tags on links and many other recommended google ideas. If i search on google for my trade mark of either usachatnow or teenschatnow they both will show on page 5 to 7. Can anyone tell what is going on here with google? I have tried so many things and nothing seems to have worked and at this point have no idea what to do. I am coming up on 1 year of being in this penalty or sandbox...the site is about 4 to 5 years old. Can anyone shed some light on what could possibly be going on?
