I have launched a new website and several campaigns that lead to this website. some of these campaigns had a very low CTR for the first 24-48 hours. Now ALL new campaigns that I try to launch for this domain get very low QS after being in the air for an hour or so, and high first page bids accordingly. It seems like adwords will not give my campaigns a fighting chance. Tried talking to their support but the only answer I get is to match the very high bids, which I have tried for one campaign and got a few impressions, really not a lot, so if there is any other, more reasonable solution, I would be happy to know about it. Thanks
That is their pricing model at work. There is not much you can do other than change the ads up and try to improve them, and perhaps improve the quality of the page. Perhaps find different keywords to bid on.
Yeah you can make more with adesnse if you own plentyoffish.com Did you buy this domain from someone? It could have been slapped previously by them, which would explain the lack of action.
The question you must ask yourself is why your QS is low. Is because of poor keyword relevancy? Or is it because of poor quality landing page? If the latter, get familiar with the Adwords policies. If all looks good with the relevancy and landing page, then you need to increase your CTR because that's the only thing left.
sometimes you have to pay higher bid for a short while untill their algorithm will catch up and you will see that your QS will go up (had it many times). But in your case it looks much worse because nothing is working. Difficult to help without a knowledge of the domain, keywords and ads.
When you mouse over the bubble icon next to the keywords what is the reasoning for the low quality score? It usually lists something like 3 points (load speed, relevance, etc)
