Google penalize sites that are using Guest Post

Guest posting isn't good for your SEO anymore. It might be negative for your site, but I can't confirm this 100 percent.

 

If Google can see that the only reason you're guest posting is to gain a backlink, it could hurt you. On the other hand, they don't seem to mind a call to action to a website or a biography link.

Never believe anything what google say.
I have great ranking in guest posting with my network.
Still waiting to be hit. Since 2007 LOL

 

Google keep saying the same thing for many many years.... Do NOT spam.
But people still try to create low quality posts on blogs and forums to get links to rank higher.

Cutts say that quality blog posts are good for you and you should concentrate on quality rather than quantity and everybody thinks guess posting is dead LOL.

 

The point is that true guest blogging is not dead. And it never will be. It's just dead for trying to get links that shmooze PR.
But it's not guest blogging. It's link pure scumming.

As for genuine guest blogging, whether you're writing a guest blog post or accepting one on your site, focus on quality. If the content is unique and authoritative and adds value, Google won't penalize it. And in this case your posts can drive extra traffic to your site and increase its online visibility.

You should try blog posting instead of guest blogging. Yes, It is the truth that google is giving penalty to those sites who accept guest posting in junk. Google is always give a strong hug if you do not create any post with a purpose of link juice, You should try to create useful posts and it must be on topic for the relevant site as well. Link is OK but it should be in the end of the article in a form of reference site or something, See, More and more you will be present natural then more and more your website will get strong position in google ranking.

 

I think cutts was kind of restating the fact that we all know, it needs to be "pr + relevance". Nothing new in SEO. It still works, we just need to be more careful about how were doing it.

 

Alternative way to gain backlinks is to find experts in your niche. It is a kind of guest blogging but more quality and less spamy.
