my blog is an autoblog wich scrapes the content from rss feeds. recently i added 3 unique written articles annd 1 day later my rankings disapear.... should be coincedence if you ask me
In your case Giamatti, autoblogs rarely perform well after the honeymoon period. Some do, but many do not - even with good back linking. Autoblogs are merely a numbers game -- slap em all up against a wall and hope some of them will stick. That has been my experience anyway. Not saying don't do it -- just saying don't expect them all to hold their rankings.
We've had the exact same thing happen to us in the last week. We were performing relatively well, ranking top ten in our targeted keywords but now we're not even in the first several hundred. We are still being indexed, though, so I hope it's another instance of the Google dance.
thanks for your answer. i know what you are talking about but my guess is that my blog has allreadyhad this "honeymoon" period. he blog is almost 2 years old, you can have a look here. please note the quality of the articles, much better then many autoblogs do you think that my blog might be still affected by the so called honeymoon(ia: penalty for being a autoblog?)
