Google peaks?

    Since couple of days a lot of people are talking about google peaks in traffic. Anyone has any idea why is this happening ? Im attaching a screenshot of my stats

    The graphic stat is for visits , visits = google analytics styled visits.
    Aka. Total count of user sessions. A session is active for an hour

    I can only guess, but it is sometimes referred to as the Google dance, the peak in traffic usually comes from an update in there algorithm which moves you up or down in the SERPs, moving from the second page in the results to the first page for a popular search term can make a big difference in the amount of traffic you receive.
    It seems that well established sites SERPs stay firm in the algorithm update but the sites that are not well established, or have a lot of other sites equally established for there niche/search term, move up and down in the update.. hence the peaks and dips in your stats.
