Google Panda histoery and Update 2.2

    Hello Friends,

    I'm talking the Google panda...

    Google Panda History

    Panda was released in February then Panda 2.0, the international rollout, hit in April and then Panda 2.1 was rolled out in May. So June is a nice time for Panda 2.2

    Google Panda Update 2.2

    The next update will target a common webmaster complaint related to the original Panda/Farmer update: sites that scrape and re-publish content and are out-ranking the original source of the content.

    Panda has One Purpose

    : to fight spam. To prevent spammers to progress by trial and error, it penalizes the entire site making it difficult to know which part is covered and it does not negate the penalty when the content that is considered poor is deleted.

    Yesterday, "Matt Cutts said in a news site that the update has been approved, hasn’t been rolled out yet, but that should happen soon".
    We should avoid duplication, hidden links and spamming. This is the way, we can save our sites to be hit.

    I didn't know Google was planning a panda update. That is good though, its going to cut down the spamming and unreal sites.

    I have one question about the panda update.

    let's say that ou have a T.O.S, and Earnings disclaimer and a Privacy policy (which you need for adsense).
    Will those pages affect the website in a negative way if you use pre-written content for them?

    I mean, everyones Privacy policy looks the same from Google AdSense, and barely no one writes their own earning disclaimers etc.

    I have put NoFollow on the links to them on my site and blocked them via robots.txt
    but I am still worried that I might get a penalty.

    This is one of the exact reason of the penalty from google after this update now.

    officially the update was not released yet, but Matt Cutts said it is coming soon
