    I have read Google Panda updated and 1.2% of English queries Impacted

    when they say 1.2% of English queries Impacted

    what does this mean?

    It means that 1.2 % of all English sites, that contain English words and phrases had been impacted by the algorithm. IF we think that on the net are about maybe 100 billion websites in English and 1.2 billion had been affected by the change.

    With that many sites on the Internet, even a 1.2% change affects a huge number of sites.
