    Google should just penalize every single website on the internet then if it is going to start penalizing for little things. Almost every website on the Internet is guilty of some sort of optimization that Google says not to do. Honestly, I think Google is filtering out sites so that the highest ranks sites on all their SERP results are government, famous brands and products, or free non-profit type sites.

    Study the top SERPs and you'll notice this is how the trend is going. Sooner or later the people that actually use the search engines will get tired of Google policing the Internet and start using another SE. If you think about it the users are the ones that make Google successful. If they all stop using Google and decide to use another SE to make money and for searches Google won't amount to much.
