My blog that has been around for a month and has gone from PR0 to PR3 I've only submitted to around 80% of the directories in DigiXmas directory submitter, no other backlinks really...
I went to pagerank 3 but my other one should be pr2 wasn't pr 2 yet. I hope the update isn't "finished" yet.
Site 1 PR2--->PR3 (Lots of SEO Done) +1 Site 2 PR2--->PR1 (No SEO Done) -1 Site 3 PR2--->PR2 (No SEO Done) 0 Site 4 PR0--->PR2 (Light SEO Done/brand new site) +2 Site 5 PR2--->PR2 (Light SEO Done) 0 Site 6 PR1--->PR2 (Light SEO Done) +1 Site 7 PR1--->PR1 (Light SEO Done) 0 Site 8 PR1--->PR1 (Light SEO Done) 0 Site 9 PR0--->PR2 (Very Light SEO Done) +2 Blog PR0--->PR2 (NO SEO Done) +2 So I got a net gain of +7 PR Better than I would have expected. Took a helluva lot of SEO to get the PR2 to PR3.
Ok. I got my 0 PR Health blog to PR2 without a hard effort in SEO. And my proxy without investing for linking got PR1. Its funny. Is google updating their PR every month? I am quite confused.
Really don’t understand it: A very established site with 4000K a day went down from 3 to 0. Another site as well.
Wondering why my social bookmarking site stayed a pr2 when it gets consistent 400 unique vistors a day. It has been updated to the best template. Guess google doesn't like bookmark sites or bid directories either. I guess if you try to make money at anything online, they try to prevent it looks like to me.
It isn't traffic that decides your pr. A good way to check what your pr might be is to search page rank prediction on google. Those things has a miracle of predicting the next page rank.
My blog that is several years old and has moved up in Google Indexing the past 3 months went -1 PR but I could careless about PR as long as the SE traffic keeps going up.
My Blog that gets over 9k unqiues daily from from a PR 4 to a PR 3, but PR is just a published stat from google. I honestly belive it has less to do with rankings than it used to. Generaly when something is public, google shades away from it. There is really no way to know how much PR affects your site vs back links and such. Continue to build a good site and build content. The more orginal content you have more than likely your SE Rankings will improve.
