    The datacenters have been down more than they have been up over the last few months when it comes to page rank checkers. Not sure that is a sign of anything except that Google doesn't like people checking their page rank constantly.

    Maybe we should take a cue from that... ;)

    I'm kinda nervous about this. My traffic spiked today, which caused my site to get overloaded, so it kept returning a "503 temporarily out of service" message. I hope that won't effect a pr update :(

    But everyone says that the pr update happens from a "snapshot" from a month or so ago so maybe my outtage didn't effect me.

    Is page rank updated all the time? Is it that when these page rank updates come around its just the export of the current value to the toolbar?

    I have seen a few posts with screen shots of the Google directory that displays PR. But when I visit the directory it doesn't show PR, am I in the right place?

    Any help is appreciated.
