    Hmmmm, I'm stumped.

    My main 5 star site has been stuck at 5 forever - hoped it would move up.

    BUT my new blog - launched in March shows a PR4 on some datacenters and a PR 5 on others. When I looked at my 5 star blog PR yesterday on the toolbar it was a 5. So don't know if it's being downgraded to a 4 which makes no sense or maybe it was a 4 previously and is just switching to 5.

    Looks like many people did well. My new site went from 0 to 4 straight away which surprised me. Only 2 months old. Does anybody have any figures that show percentage of websites with each PR?

    eg PR 10 (0.01%), PR 9 (0.02%), PR 8 (1%), etc...

    I don't think I have ever seen one. But from a mathematical standpoint PR10's are .0000008% of the total websites....... Give or take.

    This is my first PR update... heh. How long does it take? The datacenters are still not showing all new #'s... is that normal? (well the first PR update when I know what a PR update is. Heh.)

    I know three web masters who had PR7 until the update before last. They stayed PR6 again. I had to work probably three times harder to get a new site to 6 than I did getting another one there a year ago. 7 seems to be really tough these days.

    Agreed.

    I thought that this time I had a real good shot at a low 6. Nope, stayed 5 again. But, when I look at my BLs of 4 and higher, the majority are less than 6 months old.

    So, if the theory that BLs no longer pass full PR until the link has aged is correct, maybe I'll score my 6 next time.

    The good news for me is that all of my main navigation pages (small site only about 8 of them) went from 4 to 5. It is nice to see even pages 3 clicks away getting 3's and 4's.

    /*tom*/

    BTW: anyone know when the next update will be? :)

    (had to be the first to post that one!)

    Anyone know why sometimes my site shows a 4 (from 0) then it shows nothing 0 in the toolbar...like right now. Some datacenters are showing a 4, some are still at 0. Anyone have the same experiences?

    Thanks

    Because we are in the middle of an update some datacenters are showing your old PR and some your new. Just give it a few days to settle down.

    Let's hope so. One of the data centers keeps flipping back from 5, the old level, and 6, the, hopefully, new one. Hard to get excited until it's all done. Never seen any kind of rollback, however, but it makes one nervous.

    My site jumped from a PR5 to a PR7 and BL's jumped to 3220. Hope the update will affect all datacenters over the next few days.
