Google Pagerank update Q2 2008

Yeah, if PR updated today and you lost traffic, it wasn't the Toolbar PR update that killed your traffic - as the Toolbar PR exports are outdated anyway

Check the Google Directory for the latest exported PR's

 

There's a few fluctuations on some of my sites for some datacenters. Could be an update but does not look like a usual one.

 

I can now confirm a PR update is occurring right at this very moment.

PR has updated on the following datacentre ranges:

72.14.25X.XX

My Google Toolbar is now reporting PR6 for my domain, while the tool I use to check PR's is showing some datacentres as PR6. The toolbar keeps flickering between 4 and 6 so I can only assume this is proof the PR update is occurring today.

The same can be said for two of my other domains - validated against several online PR checker tools.

Update: Now noticing updates in the 74.125.XX.XXX ranges of datacentres.

 

Which tool did you use for check your PR? I cannot found any tools working here.

Thank you I manually edited that file already and put ip as 209.85.139.104 but it still show old PR. Could you please PM me exact DC that PR is updating via PM or post here?

 

That's the IP i'm using in my hosts file and it' definitely updated. Go to DP forum homepage and it should be PR7 if you done it right.

 

Yeah, I did following on your guide here already but it still show 6 for DP. I think I have done something wrong for sure but don't know where yet. I'm using google toolbar for IE. Is it necessary to use Firefox toolbar instead?

I have those line in my file exactly. I tried to close and re-open browser, even restart my pc but it still not work. This is a sad story because I want to know updated PR for my sites.

 

The sites in your sig, PR4, PR0, PR4, PR4

Some anti-virus software prevents hosts file modification, that's the only thing i can think of.

yep, there's PR update. it's going up for my site from GREY to 0 PR now.

 

I think I m the first person who is informing you that Google had updated PR today. I had found that my blog had got PR 4.

My 2 blogs had got PR's...

I had written in my thread that I had found my site's PR = 4 today. Yesterday it was PR0.

 

I dont think you are the first people to announce the PR update, moreover congt on your new PR
