Google Pagerank update Q2 2008

Why need a new thread..? Is it important to announce your pr updated..?

 

700-900 unique visits per day is dam good for a niche directory thats just over a year old. Not sure how many fingers you have velixxxx but I have 8 and 2 thumbs not 700-900

 

My site has increased in PR .. from a PR 0 to PR3 was expecting at least a PR 5 as it did not increase in the last update .. but hey something is better than nothing.. was not noticing that there was an update though.. hmm.. you can check the link in my sig shows the update of my site.. some still PR 0 though it has more links and indexes .. but some of the datacenters are showing me that the PR of this site is PR 7 .. I do have some strong backlinks from PR 7 and PR 8 sites though .. not so sure what is going on

 

seems like a short period for google updates, but they always do keep us on our toes

 

Well another google examination for webmasters. I got PR3 from PR2.

 

Does anyone know when the backlink snapshots used for calculating the PR are taken? I was expecting a much higher PR than I actually should have gotten from some backlinks over 1 month ago.

Also, do you think the PR will be updated more often from now on??

I have noticed this PR update. my website got 3 this time>

 

Seems like PR is hard to get these days. I quickly got PR 3's and 4's in many sites, but the last 3 updates have been either no change in sites or drops in pr despite continual consistent backlink building as always.

 

my site went fdown to 0, while new blogspot for just 2 days got PR3, what does google think about PR?

 

yes, the pr of my site has increased from 2 to 3 PR and many of my blog's internal pages have got 5PR .....

 

ok something really weird is going on with Google .. I have no idea why the company is so big anyway .. if you read my earlier post about 2 days ago .. my pr went from PR 0 to PR3 but I did expect this increase due to my links but now only just 5 minutes ago I checked my PR again and it is now a PR0 again.. What is going on .. I think Google is just having a headache on how to roll the dice and see what PR you are gonna get .. maybe they just changed their minds very often..

 

Something similar happen to me as well. On one of my most popular sites my traffic has been increasing nicely over the past month, all thanks to Google. With this update that site went from PR4 to PR3. Now what do I prefer, a PR4 with 3k visits per day or PR3 with 3400 visits per day? Give me a PR3 any day

 

hhmmm whats the sites where you can see the google index before it out like a pre look at what google indexing etc...

 

the last 24 or so hrs the BLs went down to about 1 third of before - the number of pages in URL increased by some 25% - some dozens of traditional old keywords always ranking top 10-20 for years dropped totally out
but traffic appears to remain same so far
.....

To me It looks more like G dance/mess and nothing finished yet

 

If the new PR update started on the 27th how long will it take to complete?

the pr update have finished 3 days now if u see the pr updating in ur g toolbar then it wont make more than 1 day to be totaly finish thats my experience for the general update allthought it might be a difference in special occasions.

which site you using that still works for multiple DC pagerank checking? Livepr seems broken/down.
