Hi there, I was wondering if anyone had experienced a change in their page rank today as i have noticed that a Firefox add on i use to display the PR of a site seems to think that there has been an update. Although many of my old sites are showing the same page rank, a new online is showing a considerable jump and i was wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing? Could Google be updating or is this a glitch in the add on that so many people use? The Alexa toolbar is showing the right rank but as i say, the PageRank on the browser is showing a higher page rank for my homepage, maybe a little too high in my opinion. I have checked the page with the likes of prchecker.info and it still shows the site as n/a as it is still a very young site (less than 2 weeks old) but does everything update at the same time or are these add ons updated before the actual listings are?
Okay a little more information on the plugin. The plugin i'm using is by SEObook and from experience is one of the best and this is the first instance that i have had of this happening. I click the improved page rank and it returns to n/a but the minute i reload the page, its back again. Anyone any thoughts?
wow , great news , i guess google changed the pr schedule , now they will be ranking each page separately , not all websites will get updates on a specific date
google rank each page separately my dear. install a pr extension for google chrome. you can see different pages with same domain have different PRs!
i dint mean that , i meant google will update ur PR on one day , and the PR of other site on a diff day . unlike all websites on the web used to get the update on one specific date [ie every 3 months , untill now]
See unless the links and juice that was heading to the site has altered, you have to think that Google is resetting all of them so that they can run their system update? Still not had any advice on the fact that i have jumped up from n/a to PR5 as per my tool bar within 12 days? Looks like i will have to sit tight and see what happens over the next 36 hours, see if it comes down again or whether the system updates the site checkers. P.S Anyone using SEObook's plugin like me, please head to www.premiershipnews.org and tell me what you see in terms of toolbar indicator PR. (I already know checker sites still show n/a)
The three sites of mine I care about are still 1,3,4. PR guesstimator that someone posted here recently pegged all three as going up by 1 PR. They've all had a traffic jump and my adsense is up per click in the last few weeks though, which is what happened when my oldest site went from 3 to 4 so *something* is happening. I'm certainly not complaining about the extra money, I have some large bills to pay and its nice when adsense pays the whole bill not just a fraction of it
google always surprise us with all their minor updates of PR.. mine doesn't changed since I already had mine earlier of Sept..
