    In all fairness we don't know this yet. It's just speculation.
    Could explain the delay but so could lots of things. I hope they are changing PR to take more into account but I wonder what teething problem it will have....

    Few years ago, some sources "close to Google" said Google is going to change pagerank to 'trust rank'.. Now 'Web Rank'

    I take it as another rumor.

    For those who do not know, 'web rank' is Yahoo's trademark. If anyone's been in webmastering long enough, would remember, yahoo implemented 'web rank' for sites for a quite limited time, but they still own the trademark..

    internet and content marketing has changed a lot after the 5 year , Google have to change their old PR system, for example look at some social bookmarking sites growing with NEW news and user voting ( but their some tag removed by google (?))
