Well, this is very interesting for those of you that have been following this thread. I decided to track pagerank changes at datacenters for computerbb, and here are the results after 2 days

All stats are recorded using http://livepr.raketforskning.com/?u=www.computerbb.org

Yesterday I had 10 datacenters show a pagerank of 6, the rest were 0
Today 12 datacenters are showing a pagerank of 6, the rest are 0

Given this trend of more datacenters showing pagerank 6 today than yesterday, is it correct to assume this google penalty is wearing off?

Also, I am now on the first page, albeit 10th for the term 'computerbb' the other day I was not in the top 1000 results

Is it uncommon for google to move this fast? I sent an email for a site reinclusion a few days ago.

    Update:

Only 10 datacenters are showing a PR 6, but I am now ranked number 1 in google for my website: computerbb

It looks like the penalty has been removed, but I havent heard anything from Google on the matter.

If the penalty has been removed, why is my pagerank not back to normal?
