I got rid of the co op links way before any of this trouble started, and I just put them back on this week in order to fix this.

Why would removing them improve the situation when they did not cause it?

It would seem that im experiencing the same with one off my directories.
Though i have it in google webmasters and everything is showing fine by what can be seen.
On the live page rank its started to slowly say its not cached and now all data centers are showing this at live page rank, but yet google reports that it was cached on dec 9th with no errors, and when i do the site:www everything seems good and works fine.....
So i have no clue whats actually going on and why live page rank is showing only this site as having a problem? If one even exists?
This site is linked to many powerful sites and im not using any black hat techniques of any kind.

No clue will check back in a day or so and see if there is any changes at livepagerank.

    thx

Yeah, I run Google Adsense, Analytics, and Sitemap on all my sites, you would think that if they penalized me they would at least let me know.

Yeah, I had co-op ads pointing to computerbb.org, along with halobb.org

But HaloBB has a PR of 5 now, so I don't think this is a co-op issue...

I have noticed a few things:
    • You have changed your urls recently using mod-rewrite
    • Your inner pages never link back to the home page
You should clean this up. Are you using redirects from your old urls to the new ones?

The old pages do a 301 redirect to the new ones, this was established when i did the modrewrite and is still in effect.
All the pages have always linked to the front page.

Hmmm just dont know whats going on......
If i dont see any change im tempted to add here

    thx

Well I just did this search and all of the urls with viewtopic do not redirect to your new mod-rewritten urls.

And when I clicked on this page, I could not find a url back to the home page. Something is broken when you tried to implement the new mod-rewrite urls for the forum. Have you checked because I have checked several times and it does not link back to the home page.

Hrm, how do I program the htacess to do the redirects?

all the pages do link back to the main page, they all have the logo which is a link, along with the computerbb tab, and the " Computer Help Forum" text

Did you actually try see what the link is for the tab, image and "Computer Help Forum" text? They don't link back to the home page.

What are you talking about, they do link to the front page.

Where do you think they link to?

Clean up the site and then submit a reinclusion request via the Google Webmaster Central toolbox.

    Remove coop links as well.

Co-Op links are not the problem, those were removed way before I had any problems, I just recently put them in, after I had discovered the problem.

I read google's reinclusion request, it will do nothing because I am already included in the search index. You only do reinclusion requests when you are not in the search index.

you have PR7 links from microsoft and you are using automated link exchange programs? I have no doubt at all that you were penalized because of coop. I got hammered using link-vault, now I won't even accept free links from similar systems!!!
you site is not banned it is heavily penalized, you should remove coop and contact google explain the situation and that you won't be using such techniques no more.
I did not contact google for my site (it was removed from the indexed for few weeks, then came back but won't show even for its url), I just submitted to yahoo directory last week hoping that this links will help it recover but now that you told me you have this problem with links from microsoft I lost hope :D
anyways I removed link-vault 6 months ago so I hope it won't take long before I get my baby back
