I found this site "http://www.seomastering.com/pagerank-prediction.php" where they have a PR "prediction" tool and I wonder how "real" this tool can be in your opinion?
Anything other than what Google releases is going to be a wild guess. Hell, the algo they use is so complicated and kept close secret, there is no way to predict what will happen in their eyes. Furthermore, only thing I noticed that site did was add x amount to every domain, even though most of mine I've let set and will not likely increase in page rank.
Yeah, that sounds about right. - But, that tool is pretty darn cool, if you ask me. Just don't know how true it is... You know!
I am always a bit adamant to trust or believe extra official tools, other than what Google has. After all PR is a Google ranking system. That other tool may just be a software someone invented in hopes of raking in some cash. Who knows, it might work, but if it is charging people any money (which I do not know as I did not bother to even look at it) there are chances that it may just be like so many other things, a gimmick.

If it is only a prediction on rankings then most probably it is not accurate, because no one can ever tell what will be their rankings on the next google update. SEO is a trial and error process, but it's always safe if you practice white hat SEO techniques. Update your site contents regularly and continue link building to increase more backlink and traffic.
well i couldn't recollect how many worthless tools it has been discovering, a silly and useless tool. It results the PR in decimals man!!! It predicted my New PR - 2.18. lol!!!
Those Websites do not give exact information. They just predict on backlinks and site popularity. So do not fix on it. Just wait for google to show next page rank.

The best way to know if the tool really works is to save your current PR Prediction and check the one you received after the next PR (within 1 month if i am not wrong). I would be really happy if i receive the PR they Predicted for me .
