Google pagerank is Updating

Getting back to the zero PR, in the case of www.people.com and www.digg.com, their page ranks of zero have not affected their rankings. Just type in "people news" and you will see Google's best attempt to providing informational search results with People magazine holding a prime spot on the first returned page. Both of these sites are in the Google Co-op directory. So, I am still trying to make a case that like Google's previous attempts at promoting Froogle, this is another attempt at promoting Google co-op. And its not just big traffic sites that have zero page rank, there are small sites within the subscriptions on the co-op that have page rank of zero with nicely improved rankings. I think the tell-all sign is those handful of DC's that are showing PR0 for these sites. There could be other connections between people.com and digg.com, but Google Co-op is a blatant one.

If you took a sample of subscribers, hardly any of them have submitted links.

our sites didn't show any PR change. But there are many changes in no of files got indexed.

this change we have noticed just last few days and we had seen these changes during last few PR updates as well.

in my website's homepage it is showing a PageRank of 6 . Tool bar pagerank is still 3. Which one is correct?

 

Probably the toolbar. It depends on your site though. Maybe one is looking at the non www version?

 

Yeah, make sure you check with www and without www. In your code you don't have www, so you should compare that with no www in the address bar.

 

I haven't seen any PR changes anywhere too.

I see PR0 in my toolbar for some reason but this shows its PR3.

Going by the Sttucttam meter it should be 3.5 or lower, depending on how you achieved the backlinks.

What??? You never heard of the Sttucttam meter? It's all over Google's search engine. You should be asking Matt Cutts about it. He knows!
