Google pagerank is Updating

You are very trusting of Matt Cutts. I don't trust him quite so much. I think that the RK values were a bit more revealing that he led you to believe.

 

It's not that I trust him ..

It's from my own tests .. That parameter, on which ALL the prediction tools based themselves (or at least the ones that really worth a look == closer to reallity) sent me inaccurate results.

NONE were right.

I wrote a post about the pagerank prediction tools. You can read it.

Then I wrote the follow up.

I agree that none were right, but what I said that that the RK parameter revealed a bit more than Cutts led you to believe. It didn't reveal actual, live PR. But it did give a slight bit of insight into where things were headed. I happened to have several new sites that didn't have toolbar PR when these "prediction" sites came around. My tests showed wildly exaggerated PR predictions, but there were very close to reality once the update came around.

As far as I know, you can not get the Pagerank using the API..

I was using my api key to query BL.

 

Oh ... Ok ..Because this friend of mine (who owns that Dot-seo website) was asking me if I know a way to query the Pagerank using the API.. I thought you found something

I dont know a way to query PR through API....

 

no change here either. although, there seems to be a problem on the alexa/PR firefox toolbar.

 

Come on guys get some sunshine - it's Summer, you shouldn't be sat at your PC clickin them PR tools

 

There's no sunshine to be gotten here in Dallas. It's raining, thundering, and hailing out there right now. I'm much safer in here worrying about when the next PR update is going to drop.

Somebody told me that Google will be doing an update.......

 

It's certainly likely that they will drop an update at some point in the future, but it definitely hasn't happened yet.
