My tooldbar PR was showing 5 for one of my pre-established PR4 sites. So I think somethings up, even tho I haven't seen anything in my new site which i'm guesstimating will be PR6.

I am also noticing some pages fluctuating from old PR back to new PR (PR the page never had before), but just briefly.

Gotta love PR update threads. :)

Reminds me of a Steve Martin movie...

"The new phone book is here! The new phone book is here! I'm somebody now!"

    Hehehehehehehe

Send me that drunken English traffic, they'll stay on the site longer as they'll have a harder time reading, no wait, beer helps the English read.:)

...never said it was free or cheap. The only reference to free is part of the name, which is related to the directory being freely available to visitors.

    Uhhhh.... yeahhhh... hm.

So If I had a bunch of rottweiler puppies in my back yard, and put up a sign that said "Free Puppies!", and ran an ad in the paper that said "Free Puppies!", then people start showing up, this would be ok?

    ME: Hi ma'am!
HER: I'd like a puppy, please.
    ME: Sore thang... $75 please!
HER: But the ad said Free Puppies!
ME: Yep... not one of them is a slave! $75 please!

I could get away with that?

It's not just in the name, it's in the anchor text, it's false advertising, and, um, it's illegal as far as I know. :)

You could create a new breed of dogs and name it 'Free' the you can advertise all the free puppies you want.

Ok, yes, that I would agree with... or petition the courts to change the official spelling of rottweiler to D-I-R-T-C-H-E-A-P, or some such... I'm just saying that as things stand now it doesn't look kosher.

Advertising that something is free when it isn't is false advertising... what's dumb about that?

    Yeah right.

    Sign: Free Water!

Person: I'd like some free water.

Me: Great! That'll be $24.95 please.

    Person:$24.95?!?!?!? The sign says free!

Me: Yep. The water is free to look at. It's $24.95 P&H (pouring and handling) for me to put it in the cup if you want to have it.

Never said it was free my a$$!

Please, show me one place where he advertises that he lists sites in that directory for free. Get over it, and move on. This is not the thread to bash a well-respected member of this forum, or his sites.

it's like Macdonalds selling hamburger patties with the brand name "100% beef burgers" when in actual fact the meat is 50% cow and 50% gym mat.
