    Hello,

I have a site which I'll promote through links exchange.
Right now it has Links on some PR3 and PR4 sites. But I'll start exchanging links with PR0 and PR1 sites.

I'd like to know if my site will be ranked lower after these PR0 and PR1 sites add my links on their pages.

    No, it will not.
Anyway why are you focussing on PR ? It is better to focus on SERPS.

    Okay,

Well, I was just fearing if low ranked sites add my links, it could lower my results in the Google Searches, and... what is SERPS ?

    SERP= search engine result page
it wouldn't lower your rank on google searches, otherwise it would increase your rank on google searches ,only your homepage though
but will decrease your pagerank(depends on the site too, how many pages, etc.)
it's not the PR of the domain that matter, it's just PR of one page
PR is only for a page, not for a whole site
the domain have PR 0, but there is a chance inner page have PR 3

A link is a link and it is better to have some combination of high pr and low pr backlinks as it looks more natural to Google and it also provides a nice mixture og high and low pr backlinks. so never worry or hesitate to get links from those site but if they are blacklisted with Google.

if the pages is in index - search for your domain name. the low or missed positions means you're under the filter (or BL)

PR 0 and PR links also worth well as not equal to the high pr but gives benefits to the site. And to get the pr for your site only good and quality back links is essential.

Suppose we add our link to a page have pr 5 and that page have already 4 links placed, then our link would get pr 1 benefit from that page. coz the existing pr of that page is equally distributed to all the links placed on that page and we can see pr calculation formula anywhere on the net.

See the concept of PR is crap..just focus on adding unique niched content to your website regularly. Try to add content on current hot topics..within no time u will climb the charts on google!

Wow, I didn't know that PR was calculated this way. Yeah, I was just worried about my site being injured someway after adding my links to low PR sites, but it's alright.
I guess that the real calculation is (Quality x Content) ^^

Don't try and second guess Google just keep adding quality content and build backinks slowly.

ohh no not again, pagerank doesn't have value now... Google doesn't care about PR anymore.... Build backlinks and expose your website to the world.....
