That looks like the very basics of their algorithm. The real meat of it isn't available to the public...otherwise can you imagine what would happen to their stock?

 

Another speculation article I assume. Wondering who at Google would reveal that kind of information to Mr. Ian Rogers...

Yeah, that's a 2km long article stuffed with tons of calculations.
Who would make all that up?

 

If you would like to see an elementary writeup of the pagerank algorithm, try reading something more useful.

I don't think this is it.

'The Anatomy of a Modern Search Engine' by Sergei Brin, was the first proposal given by google's co-founder at Stanford.

When google came out, we were really excited, cause somebody from our school had developed this remarkable search engine which is extremely fast and accurate.

 

you can read the patents...anything beyond that is pure speculation, but feel free to experiment with various domains ;-)

the real pr algo. is a secret .nobody can know it. in fact google search algo. is based on page rank system

 

The article is of course useful, but the real PR system is much more complicated and probalby has much more variables. Actually the real value is only position in search engine listings, not PR.

Yes may be. It is really complicated to understand how does it work.

 

Its funny how "experts" in this thread say that PR algo is much more complicated but still can't back up their statements.
