i'm grumpy that i haven't seen the change with the toolbar and others have. think it's the beta thing?
Wendy I'm not seeing toolbar PR updated on all sites yet. I think some haven't filtered through to which ever DC the toolbar uses. It's the same with the keyword tracker - not all sites are showing the new PR yet.
jnm as I'm sure you're aware, you get released from the sandbox (if it actually exists) after a period of time. There's nothing you can do to get out of it quicker. I've read that the sandbox only affects your primary (and possibly secondary) keywords. So if you want to get up the SERPs, you'll only do so for your other keywords - try focusing on them for while and see what happens.
And so are you!!! Anyway, on a different note: I know that the toolbar PR doesn't affect SERPs and I don't want people going off at me for asking this, but has anybody seen any change in their rankings because of this update???
Mate Its my wife that pic not me!!! I answwer to your question, I have got loads of green numbers today on the keyword tracker, but just a coincidence I feel as there is no evidence to support a pr update is in anway going to effect SERPS, to my knowledge anyway.
Mrs Jim Bob 9 pants says " Thank you TOPS30 for helping out...... The only thing I would change about my man would for him to be Dutch!! but everything else about him is just perfect" Phew - I wondered what she was going to say then....
My everything else is perfect too AND i'm Dutch Not available though... Did someone mention a PR update or something?
Not for regular search terms (just normal flux), but I have been seeing some very good allinanchor: climbs since yesterday. Hard to tell if that is due to the b/l update the other day or the pr update now... being so close. I was worried due to losing backlink counts on google a few at a time over the last several updates, even though each time I have more, and better, than before. No change in my PR, which concerns me, but with the allinanchor: climbs, I should do well in the next serp update. Which is all that really matters, in the long run.
Only seeing bls update on one dc so far (not on toolbar ip even) and this "update" I'm seeing for bls is over 2 months old. see: http://66.102.7.104/search?hl=en&q=link:www.iconrate.com&btnG=Google+Search Many of the links haven't existed in over 3 months but there they are. I don't understand how pr can update before bls across dcs.
Yes, it's updating, but I have to say I'm a bit perplexed with the results. My shopping site seems to be going from 0 to 4. I've been working my ass off getting links and so on since I started the site in November. I really stepped in up in January. I've got about 50 links that are PR4 or higher, several PR5, and a few PR6 and 7. I was hoping for a PR5 on that one, but I guess I'll just have to keep working on it. My directory, on the other hand, I haven't done much SEO on at all. It's going from a 4 to a 5. Friggin' Frack!
