    All I did was add a link to the site on another site that get's the same type of visitors. The PR of that site's been 6 for a LONG time, from 19,100 back-links.

    OK, I'm convinced. There's an update of somekind going on.
    I'm seeing PR for 2 of my sites at levels they've never been.

    McDar, now is not the time for your tool to be offline :) - mines not working correctly, I need yours.

    I think there a BL update aswell. One of my sites was showing 2980 BL's (due to a sitewide on a large site - all new links got a mention on most of their pages) it's now showing a more correct 40 BL's in some DC's.

    /me confused.
    2 of mysites are showing PR3 and another has dropped from 2 -> 0 (as expected).
    All mysites are doing exactly as searchengineengine predicted with the exception of 1 site which is mysteriously showing a 4 (across 6 DC's), as far as I'm aware it's only got IBL's from 2 of my other sites (those that are moving to 3) so how the heck can it become a 4. The site in question has never been promoted and has practically no content.

    I'm seeing updates on most of my sites on quite a few datacenters.

    Finally got one site ranked and it went straight to PR6 which makes all the hard work seem a little more worth while.

    Pity PR doesn't seem to impact traffic/referrals from Google straight away.

    No it has little to do with SERPs - so doesn't influence traffic. But it does make getting IBL's easier :) which do affect SERPs. So PR indirectly has quite a large amount of inpluence on SERPs (wrongly but general webmasters out there go off what they can see and you can see the PR on the toolbar.

    Wow, I've just seen the update expand to all bar 6 DC's for one site. It speard from 6 to 11 DC's in the last 10 minutes.
