Why would they roll back the BLs? I don't know, maybe it's a google thing. My BLs never actually rolled back, they just jumped around between the current and last two values. One thing is interesting though, my traffic is well above average, and over 50% of it is coming from google. That never happened before!
I hope this is far from over, I'm only seeing a jump from a PR2 -> PR3 so far, even though I've gotten a ton of new links, many of high PR. Even stranger, my blog got a PR4, and the majority of the links on it point to my site that's currently showing the PR3.
I too have noticed an improvement on serps according to keyword tracker, lots up 10-20 places Loads of green numbers!!
Just to toss in my "me-too" two cents, I had a page I put up shortly after Christmas go from PR0 to PR6, so this was my "canary in the coal mine" for the PR update ... and just noticed another internal page went from PR6 to PR7 - cool! ;-)
It's an expression from coal mining days. They would take canaries underground with them, and if they started looking ill, the miners knew something was amiss with the air and head out. My analogy was that having added a (significantly linked) page just after Christmas, I figured it should show some PR when the update occurred ... which is did.
WHOOHOO, WHOOHOO, WHOOHOO! Thanks guys for this thread. I had been wondering when my new blog network would get ranked but had not checked for a couple days. Just got a PR 4 and the blog is only 1 month old. It's #1 on all the search engines for "affiliate blogs" and in the 5-20 for "SEO blogs" so I was hoping the PR out of the gate would be good with all the traffic and syndication I already have. I'm thrilled since my main site which I work the hell out of promoting is still only a PR5. WHOOHOO!
Finally seems that the PR update is definetly here.... I'm seeing changes across the board on my entire network... 111 days of waiting.
For some of the sites I monitor, it appears that there are still some datacenters not in synchrony. For example, one of them has gone from PR4 to PR5 on most centers but there are still about 5 or 6 centers showing it as PR4.
Same here, one of my sites went from PR0-PR3 homepage, almost ALL internal pages are PR4 though. Very odd, anyone have a possible explanation for this? I only have 2 outbounds on the homepage, some of my internals have up to 6 outbounds and still PR4.
I had a situation once on a PR 5 blog where two internal pages were PR6 but they had no more links than the PR3 blog entries. Anyway it stayed that way until the following update...
Has the PR update finished for sure? Should I lose all faith in Google now (hey, I guess I did good really.)? ;(
Damn f*ck... My blog didn't update any PR at all. And all the available PR checking/predicting tools show PR 4, too. Bah, it has got an PR4 since january update and I've promoted it much and built much links. Damn shit! =(
TOPS30: yes, I've seen a slight change in SERPs. Primary keyword up 1 place (now #10) for minor keywords, I'm seeing jumps of >10 places. Why I don't know. Perhaps this public update coincided with an internal BL & PR update. It would make sense that the public update was just a snap shot of the internal update - now if only they'd carry out that snap shots weekly (or even monthly).
Am I missing something?..the visible PR did not change on one of my pages. 300 pages are indexed. Roughly 2/3 are new since the last update, still at 0. Blah blah blah. Somewhat positive day for SERPs...but still come on. I probally just suck. Good work everybody.
Yes... I reported the same thing for some of the sites I'm monitoring this morning. So it's not quite over but if you aren't seeing any movement on ANY of the datacenters by now, you probably won't see anything...
