Google Page Rank UPDATE?????

Wow can we beat this dead horse anymore?????

 

Since google had announced that PR will be updated, I think it's not a "dead horse".

 

Well I got a new google toolbar with ugly looking pagerank meter. So I guess they update somethings once in a while.

 

I'm still waiting for PR updates.is any one here having friendship with mattcuts or other google engineers ask them about the PR updates.

 

I was in SEO conference week ago, somebody from Google answered on question about update - don't care about page rank.

 

one of my site get updated from N/A to 0 about 2-3 week ago

such minor updates happen constantly

I didn't see any of changes happen in my blog, still in PR4.

 

Anyway i don't see anymore google pr as as a SEO helper. You can find sites with pr 6 but no traffic, and pr 0 huge traffic and first page in seo for lots of keywords.

 

I have read somewhere that the pagerank update will be done only 4 times per year, so that means the next pr update will be in march or april

Four times a year was the "olden days". Now they update constantly, but only a few pages at a time.

 

No "home page"change across all my sites.. Some internal up and downs but nothing to write home about but one of my old sites that went from PR3 to PR0 in the middle of last year bounced back to PR3.. But thats it..

I suggest that there was NO UPDATE as such , just tinkering..

I have PR4 since one year o two. I may has been updated but with the same rank.

 

Its not that important but loads of advertisers use it to determine a figure to pay for advertising. Its like an easy symbol for them to judge your site!

 

All I noticed in my Google Toolbar is that they changed the graphics for the PR bar . It has round edges now and is thicker But nope, I don't see any change in PR values on any of my sites.

That doesn't matter anyway, it has certain significance if you sell or flip your site, but other than that it's just a dead number.

 

Yeah! I am also seeing bold PageRank icon in toolbar now. I guess, there should be an update for PageRank. Not sure!
