I was implying the the OP was pulling our legs and doesn't actually "know" that the PR is being updated right now.
According to me and an analysis of Googlebot deep crawl patterns which i have been watching since the first public export. I mean it's a bit hard to export results when they haven't gathered the data yet. "Occasionally" they throw a curveball with the time frames and procedure if things don't go right and the data set isn't satisfactory. But it is far more accurate then going on datacenters being switched off, Google take DC's "out of the loop" for many reasons such as upgrades, pushing new algo's etc and not just for Pagerank. But that's just my opinion, i can't see one happening in the next 3 weeks.. Possible, but not likely.
What people call datacenters in reality are ip addresses of load balancers. Datacenters are rooms full of servers. Load balancers can be directed anywhere, so you have no idea what you are looking at. Clueless as to where a query is truly responded from, and as the load balancers go to pools of servers, that get data from pools of other servers, I would have to say not much can be gained from spending time analyzing something, when you have no idea what, or where it is, or comes from. 9 pages of speculation, untold hours wasted, nothing gained or learned. But I put my 2 cents worth in too. BWC
