    Hello!

    I have few questions:
If i have a new website with PR0, and i get one becklink to my website from a PR5 website, what will my page rank be?
And how much time is needed for the page rank change to happen?
Does it matters if the website languages are not the same?

Thank you all who answers! This is really important to me?

    Answers to your question

    1. The page rank will change if you have an inbound link from a PR5 site.
But may not be the case if you have very few B/L
    2. The Page Rank Change happens when google starts refreshing page rank.
I think that takes place once in 3-4 months
    3. The Website language may not affect the PR but may affect the SERP's

It depends on variables such as the strength of the PR5 and the number of other outgoing links from the site.

The time it takes depends on how soon Google updates, though this is just toolbar PR. Google will actually factor in PR much sooner than this.

    Language makes no difference.

it also depends on how many outgoing links the site has. If its a site with low outgoing links you'll be lucky to have a PR5 or PR4 when the next update comes.

People on this topic said it will take a while for Google to update the PR.

    I think this is wrong.

You see, as soon as Google will index the page with PR5 that links to the web site with PR0, it will change the PR from 0 to ... who knows.

So there will be no delay: it indexes a link to you, it updates the PR. This will show in search results.

What it will not change for a few months (it only updates this once every 3-4 months) is the PR displayed on Google Toolbar.

So the real PR, used in search results, will be updated. The visible PR for Google Toolbar only gets updated once every 3-4 months.

Hope this clear things up. :D

It depends on a lot of factors. If there are too many outgoing links from the page linking to you, then you might not get a major PR benefit from that particular link. Wait for the next PR update and in the meantime get some more high PR incoming links to your website.

    - Getting a backlink from higher PR is better, but as of now, focus on building backlinks on sites having the same, slight, or lower PR.

    - After Google PR updates, you will see the results.
