Your post is not clear. PageRank (PR) has nothing to do with the quality of content, h1 tags, bolded or underlined text, keywords, anchor text, javascript, Pop ups, and on and on. The PR you see on the toolbar comes 100% from sites that link to you. Some of the above do impact your sites position in search engine results (how your page ranks).
I don't believe in Google Page Rank. Some people say it's just a hype. I've seen many completely worthless sites and yet they rank no. 1 in Google Search.
Try to concentrate on your back links if you getting good back links then you can automatically get good PR
How long does it take for google to update PR? just a quick question mywebsite is linked by about 12 websites ( i can see their page and the coding) but my PR is zero and and "link:xxx" says zero too.. ive had this question in my mind for ages - dint get around to figuring out, can someone help me
Every 3 to 4 months - no one can say exactly. Google never shows all your backlinks - but that doesn't mean they aren't counting them.
You can always use google webmaster tools to see and download backlinks to your site and individual pages. It's common knowledge that info:domain is not accurate anymore. Build more backlinks to get better PR And while we are at it.. don't concentrate on PR all that much

PR and PageRank are not the same as 'page rank' and SERPs. You should think about the quality of this thread...
