i prefer Compar's chart, not sure how accurate it is....
but it doesn't baffle me with science........just a quick look and

How relevant is linking a page to another on a off site ( not your own) if maximum results will only be achieved if you link 1000+ links per page? would it not be better to promote your website by convential means ( ie: tv radio and print) rather than risk a link that may offend of dissasociate a potential cliant
