Google Page : Is it finished

hi Friends ....

We didn't see Google Page Rank update for long time ...

Is Google Page Rank concept is finished ?

 

i don't think so, its pretty normal for google.. by the way i noticed one of my site increased its PR from 0 to 1 last month..

 

Google will announce it if they stop the PageRank technology, maybe they just limit updating it so people won't talk and focus on it too much...

 

@sweta.singh.98 make sure that website isn't banned or flagged by panda.

 

emm.. and what does Panda has to do with Google PR?

 

Google update it's page rank for various websites indexed in its search database at specific dates... this is quarterly basis of half yearly basis sometimes.. the number of updates are not known specifically. But its truth that the page rank update is been done two or three times a year... And sometimes the websites got its pagerank up because of its quality link building and in linking pages.

 

PR is still there if its no updated it does not means its finished.

 

I think there is some problem with your OnPage SEO or the content. Please re-check those. Google PR is working as before.

Yes Sweta you are right coz I think it was updated in January 2011 last time. I heard about it but I forget.

 

We cannot predict when they will rank our website. All depends on their strategies, once they did any changes they will inform it through their blogs.

 

Oops! Judging by all the many, many threads on this forum and many like it, I think someone should let Google know that it's not really working. With infrequent, spotty updates, they've done more to do just the opposite.

Many webmaster says that the PR is not updating for a long time. However, very few says that there is little increase in their PR. It seems that the PR has not stop but it certainly slowed down its update process. But we could not say unless google declare about the PR officially. Till then just keep your work doing and hope to see the PR changes at any moment.

 

PR concept has not finished and I think it can't be. Because it measures the value of a web page/website over internet. I hope Google will soon update the PR.

I think Google is messing with our heads and we seriously need to stop kissing their behinds.

 

Google Page rank is still alive and work because some inner pages of my site is change PR regularly.

And yes the last update was on 21 jan so in next month we can except PR update.
