    Hi,

I would like to know how Google count page impressions, i mean does it count the number of page views on the site or does it count the number of times the adsense code used or does it have any other method.

when i check the stats on my portal it is always different to the page impressions in Google.

No, It will be counted as 1 impression.. 1 successful page load (including adsense code) = 1 impression.

Google tracks impressions extremely well. They wouldn´t risk loosing money would they?

I made a smal experiment. I tried 8 different counter like Stat counter, Google Analytics and some other and they all tracked diferent numbers. I don´t know who is the most reliable but you can trust Adsense counter, you don´t have any choice.
