    just to toss my 2 cents worth in...referal links and affliate links aren't the way to go if you're looking to get earnings fast...it can be good money but it takes a long while for people to click on them and even longer for them to pay for stuff....

    i would def look into some ad programs...ie google adsense (still can be slow going but better then referals) and adbrite is kinda nice it not only works kinda like google adsense but you can also sell adspace to people on adbrite

    [edit] if you are in the us, you can try to apply for yahoo's publisher...it's still in beta and very pick on who it allows in yet!

    If you read the text it tells people to click the button. I'm pretty sure Google will kick you out for that.\

    I never even got any referrals until after I added a little write up in my downloads section. The day after I added that I got my first one.

    yep it's against googles TOS to request ppl to click the ads (or to have members on your forum ask others to click the ads) or to offer any kind of insentive to people for clicking the ads!
