Hi, Is there any way to remove ads which promotes "Google adwords" ads like: "People are searching for what you're selling" "Are you there ?" Is that like public served ads ? I dont think those ads in any way related to my site.
You can try and block the URL from showing ads on your website through your "My Account" section in your Adsense account panel, but other than that I see no other way other than to make sure you have the correct keywords for your niche in your meta data and on your website.
If you are getting irrelevant ads after 24 hours it means the advertising pool is small or your site content is not matching advertisers. You can try ad targeting but it takes weeks to know if it's working. You can try filtering ads. The best thing you can do is use your ads sparingly on pages that have the most relevant content to what your keyword targets are. And make sure your titles and descriptions are accurate. Also it doesn't hurt to link out to other sites that are directly related. The bottom line is you are trying to give the Adsense bot the most relevant content information so they can match the advertisements for you.
Thank you for your replies, Well its not like those ads stay all the time, I mean like I got a page with 3 block of ads and one of the blocks showing that "Google Adwords promotion", so it has nothing to do with content targeting it looks more like google is not having enough advertisers and they doing that kind of promotion thru our websites, and as far as my visitors 99% would not click on those ads so I am thinking just to block them and show something else instead, but another thing I was thinking that maybe google has high CPC rate for those ads ? So I was thinking maybe someone done some tests with it and could share their experience with removing those ads to increase their ecpm. P.S. I saw those ads on other sites from time to time ( Those ads doesnt stay on the site all the time, just some shots from time to time)
