Did Google just recently start using this as the outbound off their search results? href=/url?sa=U&start=1&q=http://www.longislandexchange.com/&e=9901 I could have sworn they used to be static on the search results.... Of course I could be wrong here.... But I keep thinking that something has changed there......
Funny, I thought so..... hmm, Any thoughts on why? about how long has this been going that I missed it?
You could imagine that if they could also track the outbound, that will give the click serp site possibly even more strength in the google index. As we all know, some first place serps don't always have the best descriptions, so one may be clicked more than others, even though it is not in the #1 spot. More clicks = more relevance? My question is, are they using this URL structure in all search queries currently? or just a few target markets? That can also help figure it out. KG
Google have been using the 'onmouseover' command to record the position of the sites being viewed for a long time. Here is an example- onmousedown="return clk(this,'res',6) They have done this since Florida or there abouts. IMO it is simple that they use it to monitor the effectiveness of any tweaks in their algo. Let us say that the current average click value position is 2.6789 now this means tht people searching are finding what they want in the top 2.7689 results. Google tweak their algo and that number moves to 3.111 they then know that their results are less accurate as people are having to move further down the page to find what they want.
Good observation. Who do you like in the stock market? Just to be sure this is an example of what you are referring to correct Old Welsh Guy?
