Google OS means more problems. We already have several OS in the market and most of the software need different versions for running on them. I think there should be only one OS and that should be open source.
Prediction: Google will never launch an OS. They want to be an ISP, and you can't have both (too much of a monopoly).
Sorry guys this reply was by mistake , i was on two opened tabs , but i think yes we can soon see Google OS because they have started taking interest in gadgets area .
In the past, we have seen many predications got wrong....like some few years back,no one was expecting google to be the biggest search engine of universe and most of the people use to say that google will not ever be able to compete yahoo....but as you know google has more capitalized business than yahoo...so I think nothing is impossible in this world
don't really know of the desktop OS.. but the Google's mobile OS Android will soon make a major impact.. it will become more popular as the platform to develop new apps is really interesting..
I had no idea google is planning to release an operating system, I wonder how good it will be in comparison to Microsoft's operating systems?
It is sure that Google OS will be better than Windows as we have FF and lots of other services that google provide in competing with MS.... I don't think that google would make an open source OS but the charges might be very less than windows......
Google OS ? we will be more happy if google can release OS, sure they will try to Bit MS. Lets see, No One Can say perfect news about this. Thanks John
Yeah nothing is permanent, but definitely the one will get the taste of the public will surely win. Monopoly will soon over.
I dont think so monopoly of MS in OS will be remained for ever....and dear I also don't think that google if it made some OS will be only one most desired OS of the market....If google made some awesome and more easy to use OS which is giving more facilities and you dont have to purchase new softwares for it, will definitely give very tough competition to MS.....
