Sidebar, footer, header and other places are not dangerous as long as the links are sitewide.

I ain't trying to talk down to you. I tried to help you but you insist that duplicate content is ok
Duplicate content is not OK in Googles eyes.

and I didn't say you "wouldn't make it" I said no wonder it's not doing very good.....

AND, unique content is THE ONLY WAY. not using aggregators and youtube video's...

I don't care anyway. Your having problems OBVIOUSLY SO.....

I dont insist duplicate content is ok in googles eyes, I said quality sites can be built using it. Go to http://www.programmableweb.com/mashups/directory and try to tell me unique content is the only way. If everybody thought like you sites like kayak and stubhub would never have been built.

I never tried to turn this into a unique content thread, I simply wanted to know what could cause google results to drop out like that post Panda, and neojunior answered me with the panda 2.2 update.

Don't bother responding, you're of no help on this, I'll suffer through my obvious problems

lol, they are the EYES that matter...

    You gotta be kidding me...

Well... I guess we will have to agree to disagree. But I know Google prefers unique content (and they are proving it...). If you want to work that way than that's your business I guess.

Lol, did ya really think I wouldn't post again just because YOU said so...?

Sometimes you may be undergoing a "Google Dance" and should just continue your current promotion techniques and see if you get back to an even higher ranking

Ya and this happens a lot when a site is transferred to a new owner or server (or has a DNS change). Which you mentioned you recently purchased the site, so this could be a possibility.

Yeah... this sounds a lot like a hit from panda 2.2.

    Good thread here: http://www.webmasterworld.com/google/4326253.htm

If you want Google to take your site seriously write unique content on your site regularly, this should help but it will take time......
