I keep hearing that Yahoo pays out more but don't know what to believe!?
    Do You know the answer?

Also, is it true that some keywords pay an enormous amount of money!? 'Yahoo domains' the keyword is #1 apparently and pays $100's for every click! What the!?

What is the most that you are getting paid per click and what are the keywords please!? My max. has been $0.60 per click. (Money).

    Thanks,
    D.

Thanks for your response harneet! It's hard to work out why Adsense is so screamingly popular then - the head spins! D.

adsense is popular just because it gives access to even low traffic sites, when yahoo didn't .. yahoo is best paying.

Yahoo does pay more, but the CTR is a small fraction of Adsense.
For instance, YPN may pay twice what Adsense pays, but the CTR is 1/10.
If you get a 5% CTR from Adsense, you may get 0.5% from YPN.

So it isn't just the Earnings Per Click. The CTR is far more important, because of the 10 times difference (due to YPN's lack of inventory, and hence poor targeting).

Bottom line? You will probably make 5 times as much using Adsense, in most cases.

With Google Adsense taking over Yahoo Ads search results, it wouldn't be long before YPN is discontinued.

    Peace,

I was running YPN on over 50 sites. When they first started, the payout was a lot higher than adsense. Now the payout on adsense is higher, and the CTR is much higher with adsense. YPN targeting is horrible. They only pay for US traffic. I stopped using YPN on all but one site - and I only run it on a few pages to monitor any improvements to their targeting.

There may be a few isolated niches where it isn't the case, but in general, you'll make more with adsense than YPN. I run whichever makes me more money - but YPN is one of the worst managed programs around imo.

there are plenty of programs that will pay twice than adsense but what is the CTR? i tried chitika and adbrite which pays lot more than adsense but CTR is terrible as they hardly cover all the niche

there you go. exactly what i was thinking
