Google Only Indexing Homepage on Wordpress Site

(Thought about putting this in the Google forum, but the description said it is only about Google as a company).

I have a fairly simple Wordpress site: http://www.squirrel-proof-bird-feeders.com

After 2 months of posting every day, Google has only indexed my homepage.

I have a Google sitemap account and the domain is verified. The sitemap shows the last successful crawl as being Nov 16 even though the Googlebot comes every day.

Sometime after Nov 16, I noticed that my sitemap had errors (didn't contain the www). I fixed this.

A week ago I noticed my posts weren't html valid. Fixed that.

So...since everything is now as it should be and the Google bots are coming daily, why has Google only indexed my homepage as of Nov 16 and why is my homepage the only page indexed (no posts at all even though there are links on the homepage)?

I know Google won't update the crawl date if it thinks the page hasn't changed, but I have a "recent articles" section of my sidebar, so the homepage is changed every time I post.

Shouldn't the fact that the Googlebot came mean that the crawl date is updated?

Any ideas? I'm fairly new at this (this is my first site).

    Thanks.

Build more links and be patient enough. Google sometimes took too long to display indexed pages. It's not just you or wordpress but a lot of people experienced this.
