Yes, it's great news and also best news is that it is always free like other Google products. But won't change my Os right now even it is great till I get reviews from other users.
actually you can now try the google android operating system on your computer: http://code.google.com/p/live-android/
It will go through a lot of versions before I maybe use it, Google Androids screenshots looks basic... http://code.google.com/p/live-android/wiki/WhatUserSaid
I agree with @wishbone. I would like to see it first before I'll use it. I don't want to sit with all the bugs on the first try.
Yeah we know that since they first announce it.. Well, i am quite interested on that until I could have that on my PC.
yes it's very grate news that Google has been launching it's new O.S. but is it's user friendly like Microsoft.
It does look clean, I'll give it that much. I'm still on the fence as to whether or not I like it. I'm partial to my Windows machine. If however, they find a way to make their OS compatible with all of my software, then I will be more inclined to take it for a spin.
How long they will take to launch the OS , It is not that much easy to develop the OS .,All are expected lot in browser but they faild to make it success.
Honestly I'm very exited about this news, but realistically I think it can't expect a bigger share of the market than Linux..
If they have one which runs off the web, cloud computing will finally be here. Can't wait. Bloatware like XP, Vista and 7 annoy me!
