Google not updating Title Tags?

Hey guys!

I recently changed aroundt eh title tags on a site that I run and was eagerly waiting upon google re-caching it and looking at the change in the serps.

Well Google has re-indexed it and recahced it twice since I made the cahnge and yet the serps still reflect the old Title

I changed the title about 10 days ago.

Is this normal and wouldnt G normally update that when it was recached??

Any ideas?

 

maybe HE need time to think .... lovley G isnt so fast on that

 

I think the different data centers might be operating on a delay because each one transfers the new page to the next one and so on... with a little time in between. I changed a page a few weeks ago and noticed something similar, it would show the old one some times and the new one others.

 

I suggest you wait. Recently, I changed about 400+ page's titles etc and after about 2 months, I see all new titles etc in google search results.

 

You just need to give it time. I changed the title tags on 30 of my pages a week or so ago and Google is updating them maybe one or two at a time per day.

 

it does take time sometimes upto 2 weeks, especially if your site has a low PR

 

Not a problem on my end. I updated my title and it showed up 3 days later.
