Google not updating new articles right away

    Hi,

    My wordpress site is 3 years old , in past my posts are updated with in 5-10 minutes time but starting yesterday new posts are added to Google serp after a day.

    I am writing news articles so delayed serp update is not what i want. Can some one suggest how can i fix this?

    Are you serious ? The problem only started yesterday ! Google have just had a backlink update , its likely that everything will return to normal in a couple of days, If not then you need to start asking why. Have you lost some backlinks recently that were of somekind of authority with lots of spiders crawling it ? A loss of a link from an authority site in your niche could do some damage. My advise.......dont start changing things and worrying about it until you have had the problem at least 10 days , Not the day after its happened, By changing things around instantly and panicking you could make things worse

    Same is happening to me. At times we require the post to appear quickly as far as the news is concerned but even after passage of 2 days nothing is being shown up.

    Keep updating your website regularly so that Google will cache your website regularly.
